What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony and reception we are requesting formal attire. Earthy tones encouraged, but not required. For the shabbat dinner, we are requesting evening cocktail attire.

Will it be outdoors and on grass?

Answer

The majority of the wedding will take place outdoors so bring any extra layers you may want and consider thicker heels for grassy areas.

What is the weather like at this time of year?

Answer

November is the start of the dry season in Nuevo Vallarta. Think, warm and humid days with slightly cooler evenings.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in our lives, our wedding day will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children in the immediate family.

How will we get from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

The wedding venue is located in the hills of Nuevo Vallarta, about 15 minutes from the hotel zone. We will be providing shuttles from designated hotels to and from the venue, however Uber is an easy option if you need to arrive or leave separately. Shuttle depart times will be provided in advance.

Can we participate in the weekend activities if we are not staying at the designated hotels?

Answer

For Friday night, all guests are invited to a shabbat dinner at Marival Distinct. Saturday beach hangout at Marival Emotions will be accessible to those staying at the 2 hotels, however anyone outside of the hotels, per resort policy, will have to pay a day use fee for use of the hotel food, facilities, etc.

How do we travel between Marival Distinct and Marival Emotions?

Answer

There are regular golf cart shuttles that take you between the 2 hotels, or it is about a 15 minute walk. Guests staying at Marival Distinct will have unlimited access at Emotions, however those staying at Emotions will only have full access to the shabbat dinner at Marival Distinct.
