Although Blake and Arielle's paths crossed many times throughout their lives it was a porterhouse that ultimately brought them together at the Ice House Bar in Yakima, WA. As Arielle worked at the restaurant, Blake came in multiple times a week and like clockwork an order for a porterhouse would come through to the kitchen. Whether it was 11am or 11pm, if Blake Doyle was in the house he was ordering the 64 oz, 42 day dry aged, cooked to perfection, medium rare, porterhouse. Normally, someone ordering the porterhouse would come in dressed in a sport coat, looking to impress by ordering this hunk of meat. But not Blake, he would order this thing while by himself in the bar wearing flip-flops and shorts for lunch. She had to know who he was! Time after time, Arielle would make attempts to flirt by yelling, "Sorry! We are closed!" or, "Get lost, we can't help you today!" but they were mostly ignored as Blake shied away giving Arielle even more of an intrigue as well as a chuckle. Slowly, she elbowed her way in one weekend night as the restaurant was packed to the brim. Boldly she asked, "can I eat my dinner with you? There is nowhere else to sit." which was a lie, she could have sat in the office and dined alone. Finally she was in. Weeks or maybe months passed until Arielle decided to Facebook message Blake- so romantic, but she didn't have his number! Blake, not having Facebook messenger downloaded the app and responded. He was in Ice House with his parents and asked Arielle to join. Arielle pulled up the cameras, spied on him and his family and declined to meet. She was not ready to have a full on meet the parents outing just yet although, she already knew them. Later, they met at Sports Center, moved along to McGuires, and ended the night with their first kiss under the stars in Blake's backyard as a young puppy Trigger looked on. The rest is history.
