Arielle first laid eyes on Anthony from the second row of the studio theater as he performed a silent One Man Show. It must have been pretty good because following the performance they hit it off in the romantic ImprovBoston lobby. Remarkably, after Anthony opened his mouth, she was still interested.

Anthony took advantage of the picturesque scenery along the coastal, mile-long "Marginal Way," a walk they take together every time they visit Maine. At various landmarks along the walk, he provided Arielle handwritten letters corresponding to their relationship, culminating in a proposal opposite the drawbridge in beautiful Perkins Cove. While Anthony did not plan for photographs, in a magical moment of serendipity two very kind young women "picked up on the vibes" and discreetly captured the moment.
