FAQs

Question

When should I arrive and depart?

Answer

Most guests will arrive Friday afternoon for the welcome events and depart Sunday after breakfast. We’ll share a detailed weekend schedule closer to the date.

Question

What's the best way to book my room?

Answer

Please call the inn directly at (802) 843-2248 and mention our wedding when booking. There are several different room options and pricing: petite rooms ($249 per night), queen rooms + double bed rooms ($279 per night), king rooms ($319 per night) and presidential suites ($379 per night). Please note, breakfast is included in the room rate!

Question

When should I book my room?

Answer

The Grafton Inn has only 42 rooms, so we encourage you to book early—specific room types may sell out quickly. If you have a preference, please book as soon as possible. The front desk team will be happy to help ensure your room type fits your needs and preferences.

Question

Do I have to stay at the Grafton Inn?

Answer

We’ve reserved rooms at the Grafton Inn for all of our guests so everyone can stay together. Since all wedding events will take place at the Inn, you’ll be able to simply walk to everything. Please note there are no Ubers or public transportation in this part of Vermont. If you need alternate accommodations, reach out to us directly. Options are limited, and we want to make sure your experience is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

While we adore VT for it's tucked away from it all feel, that also translates to "the middle of nowhere" real fast. Unfortunately, anyway you slice it, Grafton's 2 hours away from the airport. We love flying into Burlington (BTV) because there's a direct flights on American, but it can also be pricey. Flying into Manchester (MAN) (especially from FL) can be a more budget friendly option. You can also look into Hartford (BDL) or Albany (ALB). While Boston (BOS) offers a ton of flight options, it's also the longest drive at almost 3 hours.

Question

Do I need to rent a car? Is carpooling an option?

Answer

Unless you are planning on driving to the wedding (which we are, we love a road trip!) you'll likely need to rent a car or connect with another member of our parties to carpool. If you'd prefer to carpool with one of our other friends flying into the same airport, let us know - we're happy to connect you with other cool people who are also doing cool things (like coming to our wedding!).

Question

What is parking like at Grafton Inn?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the Inn and throughout the town of Grafton for those driving.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

All events will take place on-site at the inn, so no additional transportation will be needed once you arrive.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Summers in Vermont are warm during the day and cooler in the evenings. We recommend bringing a light layer for after sunset.

Question

I don't see a registry link, are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Nope! We have a lot of stuff, in fact, we have TOO much stuff. While we appreciate the gesture, we'd prefer donations to our honeymoon and house fund - or simply just your presence.

Question

Is there Wi-Fi and cell service at the inn?

Answer

Wi-Fi is available, but cell service can be spotty - another great excuse to unplug and enjoy the weekend!
