Travelers from the US can fly into Barcelona-El Prad Airport (BCN), which is approximately 90 minutes from Costa Brava by car. Those traveling from within Europe may also consider the smaller regional Girona-Costa Brava Airport (GRO), which is approximately 30 minutes by car.
Rental Car
SIXT
The simplest—and most scenic—way to travel from Barcelona to Costa Brava is by car. Car rentals at the airport in Barcelona are as low as €20-30/day. We recommend making a reservation as far in advance as possible to ensure an automatic option. A taxi or car service may also be taken from Barcelona, though rates vary. SunTransfers is a reliable source, though there are many options. Park Hotel San Jorge will also happily help with booking a transfer from Barcelona to the hotel. Inquire when making your reservation!
Train
Barcelona-Sants to Sils
The primary train station in Barcelona is Barcelona-Sants. Access to this station via train from the airport is located at Terminal 2. Travel time from the airport to the train station via train or taxi is approximately 20 minutes. From Barcelona-Sants, travel to Éstasio de Sils. From Sils, you may take a taxi to your hotel; approximately 20 minutes and 50€ depending on your selected hotel. Sils taxis +34 609 73 27 11 (TAXI QUIM SILS).
