Chris met Brandon second semester of freshman year at Appalachian State. Their first interaction was Brandon messaging Chris on Facebook asking if he could plug in the TV. The obvious answer was no, but Chris wasn’t sure if Brandon had a sense of humor, so he said yes. Over time it was obvious these two were so very different, but meshed well together. Life hasn’t been the same since.

Ariele met Brittany at Appalachian State in an education class, where they bonded instantly! Brittany has been the Lorelai to Ariele's Sookie since day one. It is safe to say that Brittany knows Ariele better than she knows herself!

Chris has been going to school with Talbs since they were young lads. They traveled the state going to concerts every weekend in high school and were roommates Chris’ freshman year at Appalachian State. They may have differing opinions on most things, but that does not get in the way of their friendship.
Ashleigh Brooks

Ariele and Ashleigh were brought together by a 6th grade Nigeria project, and have been inseparable since! Though they haven't lived in the same state in over 10 years, they are still the best of friends. Ariele knows she can go days without talking to Ashleigh and they will always pick right back up where they left off!
Mike Daniel

Chris and Mike have known each other since high school but became best friends for life after a crazy trip to Miami in 2010. Luckily they both also attended Appalachian State and the rest is history.
Marin Londe

Ariele has been in Marin's life since before she was born! Even though they are not related, they are truly family at heart. Though Ariele may be a foot shorter than Marin, she is still the bigger sister in the relationship!

Chris met Ryan in high school after coming from a different middle school. Ryan was one of the first people to befriend Chris and eventually they were roomies at Appalachian State. Ryan is a first class friend who is not that great at golf.
Samantha Londe

Ariele has known Samantha since before she was born! Ariele has loved watching Samantha grow up and truly values their relationship. Samantha will always hold a special place in Ariele's heart.
Zack Martin

Chris and Zack go way back to the Southeast Middle School days. After attending different high schools they were able to reunite at Appalachian State. Even though Zack thinks he listens to good music they were able to stay best friends as true love always prevails.
Stella Young

Ariele can remember meeting Stella the day she was born. Ever since then Ariele knew that Stella would be part of her special day. Stella quickly stole Chris' heart when she was only one. Though she spent most of her days calling him "piss", she too loved her time with him!

Chris and Travis also go way back to the Southeast Middle School days and were able reunite at Appalachian State. Travis and Chris both like to think they are always right, even though that’s not the case. Life would not be complete without The Vern.

Ryan is Chris’ "nephew" and the son of the best man, Brandon. Ryan was the first baby Chris ever held and since then he has been a special little guy to Chris. Ryan has quickly stolen both Ariele and Chris' hearts and they have both loved being a part of his life!
