Accounting class isn't exactly the most romantic place for two people to meet. Luckily for Myles, it wasn't where Ariel made up her mind on him either. Going around the room the first day of class and telling everyone where they were headed after college, Ariel had one thought when the lazy looking kid in the back row said he was going to work at BDO - who on Earth is this kid and why does he think he is coming to work with me? Little did Ariel know that after a year of working at BDO, she would get much more familiar with this quiet lazy kid. Myles came in as a fresh new hire and the two were fatefully assigned as "Buddies" through BDO's mentorship program. Despite a first buddy lunch where Myles shamelessly ate an entire rack of ribs in front of Ariel, the two hit it off immediately and quickly became the best of friends. Over the next several years, the two learned that they had almost everything in common. An affinity for EDM music, a borderline obsession with working out, and a love of all things dogs were just a few of the quirks that brought them closer. Most importantly, they discovered that neither of them took life too seriously. They always found a way to laugh together, no matter what work or life threw at them. After years of being best friends, Myles finally found the courage to take the next step... right as Ariel was leaving BDO. Despite her departure, their journey together was just getting started. Those long nights trapped in dingy audit rooms together turned into long nights laughing and planning a future together, mainly centered around when they would get a dog.
