Micheals POV: I stopped going to a young adults Bible study for about 6 months and God put it on my heart to start going again, my first time back was Ariel’s first time there ever, and I remember sitting down and seeing her walk in with a black shirt and white skirt, dressed modestly, and seeing how soft and quiet she was and it was the first thing I noticed about her and it was very attractive to me, when she walked in it was like slow motion in a Hollywood romance movie. A couple Thursdays later she went out of her way to talk to and sit by me at the same Bible study, and that night I knew I had to ask her out, I felt like it was God telling me to. I was so nervous but I prayed fervently for peace and confidence and that following Sunday morning I got to church 15 minutes early to see where she was going to sit because I was determined to get her number after service. After service I hunted her down like a hawk and asked for her number and she gave it to me. Later that day we talked on the phone and went out on our first date the next day😂 we connected so well that after a week of going out everyday we officially started dating. Ever since then we’ve grown so much as individuals and as a couple. I know God has brought us together for purposes bigger than ourselves and I’m so thankful that God has given me a partner to do life and become more like Jesus with. Ariel’s POV: I had recently started attending crossroads Baptist church, I was going every Sunday trying to get more connected to God, I would see this nice looking guy around and wonder who he is, but I was always too nervous to ever talk to him. One Sunday my mom got the information for a young adults Bible study to get connected with more people my age, I was very excited, nervous, and slightly hopeful I might see the nice looking guy there. I walked in to my first Bible study and the first person I saw was him, my Micheal, however I still did not talk to him 😂 I kept attending Bible study. Then one day I decided I was going to ask if I could sit next to him, we instantly started having good conversation and I was excited to see him/talk to him again either Sunday or next Thursday. I took it to God and asked him to not let my heart lead but to let Him lead. The whole Sunday service I was praying that if it was Gods will, Micheal would come and ask me out…lo and behold that very Sunday Micheal asked me out and we have been inseparable ever since.
