An extension of the Illinois stay-at-home order through May 30 has forced us to change our wedding plans. Due to COVID-19 and the uncertainty of what the coming months will bring, we have made the decision to still get married on May 24, 2020 but only in the presence of our parents and siblings. We have also made the difficult decision to not reschedule our wedding reception. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will miss sharing this happy occasion with our family and friends.
The two of us met online through a dating app. We never envisioned ourselves going online to meet someone, let alone to find "the one". Little did we know that we'd meet each other right away. We were each other's first and only date after creating our dating profiles. Our first date was supposed to be just a quick meet-up for coffee... we finally said our goodbyes after four hours of talking. Both of us were buzzing with excitement as we drove home that night, with each of us calling our friends as we pulled out of the parking lot. We both knew from that very first moment that we'd found the person we wanted to spend the rest of our life with.
