Maid of Honor
Alexis is my amazing little sister. Even though she's younger than me by 12 years, she has surpassed me in height. When she's not making fun of me because I'm 6 inches shorter, ganging up on me with Mark or teasing me because of my blonde moments (which she's no stranger to herself even as a brunette!) she's the best sister to bring a smile to my face. We've grown really close over the past few years and I wouldn't trade her for the world (except maybe in those certain sister moments where you can't stand each other....I'm sure you know what I'm talking about!). I've been really blessed with an awesome, caring, and fun younger sister, and I'm so happy that she's standing by my side.
Best Man
Herrador and I met in High school, we played football and baseball together. We would skip athletics class to go play video games at my house and then just to go back for practice. When he transferred schools, we fell off the grid, but our friendship reconnected back in college and have been in touch ever since. Herrador is the person that will tell you like it is, and someone that I can always depend on to be there, for the good times and bad.
Matron of Honor
Nerissa is my older cousin but more like an older sister to me. People will tell you that we hated each other as kids... and that's because we did! That hate though, turned into a bond that no one can ever break. Nerissa has always been there for me through all of my obstacles, I couldn't imagine not having her in my life. She's the one I can talk to for hours and cruising back roads in the country while blasting N'Sync. She's my "brown paper bag"!
Groomsman
Pedro is someone I know from high school but really didn't kick it off until I reconnected with Herrador. Back in high school, Pedro was the guy that everyone was friends with because he is funny and outspoken. He was the COMPLETE opposite of me... I was always considered the "quite" guy. I always wanted that confidence that Pedro had, and when we started hanging out the confidence transferred into my adult years!
Bridesmaid
Erica is my ultimate world traveling, dancing queen and best friend. We have been inseparable since the 6th grade. Back in Jr. High she would be my lookout in class because I would always fall asleep. Teachers used to think we were related and would say, "y'all cant sit by each other in class"... but we would still do it anyways. There have been many crazy summer nights, drinking wine on the patio and ultimate car rides. We have been through it all, and I couldn't imagine life without her!
Groomsman
Vincent is the baby of the family. Growing up with Vincent has always been an adventure, to say the least. Whether its him breaking a controller while playing video games or getting angry when playing basketball because he WAS the shortest of us boys and we showed no mercy. But all of that sure did change as he got older. He definitely still gets mad when playing video games, but is definitely not the shortest one anymore. He is smart, driven, and the life of any party. (He also claims he is the cuter bother.)
Bridesmaid
Shelby is my soon to be sister-n-law. Shelby is a ball of energy, she is not afraid to show her true colors and always makes people smile. If you are having a crappy day you can always rely on Shelby to make you feel better. She is a truly unique person and I am so excited to have Shelby in our bridal party!
Groomsman
Jr is my older brother, we could write a book of the memories and stories we've shared growing up. One thing we had was a Pinky and the Brain relationship. I would always come up with great ideas and Jr would go through with the plan, which got him in trouble 90% of the time. Even now, I will try to throw an idea in his head but now it will only work 40% of the time. Jr has always been a hard worker and I have always looked up to him and his success. It gives me the drive to work harder to make my own successful story.
Bridesmaid
When I need to laugh, cry, complain, rejoice and everything in between, Mercy is my go-to girl! A fantastic listener and a beautiful lady inside and out. Mercy's got a great head on her shoulders and is a daily inspiration to me. Mercy lived with me for a couple of months and during that time we learned so much about each other. She became part of my family, and is still apart of it. Even though we may not talk everyday or see each other often due to busy schedules, we still know we are always there for one another.
Groomsman
Being with Ariel for over 10 years now, I have seen all of her siblings grow up. With Sebastian, it has been amazing to see him grow from an 8 year old boy playing football, to a now 19 year old young man in college. The bond Sebastian and his "sissy" have has never broken and never will. She has always been his cheerleader screaming at the top of her lungs at every football game, track meet and boxing match!
Bridesmaid
Madeline is my young sweet cousin. When she's not shopping or concentrating on school she is a carefree teenager. Madeline is like another litter sister to me, loves to come to me for advice and I'm always happy to give it to her. I love that we have a relationship that she can turn to me!
Groomsman
Issac was the first grandchild to join our family. Seeing him become a young man before my eyes is a blessing. Issac is the smartest kid you'll ever meet. Growing up he would build Houston stadiums out of paper and tape. I'm not talking about something that will fit in your hand but huge stadiums that would cover the bedroom floor. He is not your average kid, his dream trip was to always go to WASHINGTON, DC! Most kids just want to go to Disney World, not this kid. And the amount of facts he has in his head are unreal. I am talking about a wide range of facts from presidents to sports stats, he knows it all. I truly believe that he can be anything he wants to be. He has all the tools to be successful in life and I cant wait to watch him grown even more.
Bridesmaid
Marlen is my partner in crime. There have been many crazy nights dancing the night away, sliding down hallways at 2 A.M. and spontaneous sleep overs. We love to shop in each others closets, if we don't have anything to wear. We also love try new foods together, BUT there is one rule! Before going out, we have to know where were going or else we will be driving around for hours because we're both SO indecisive. We never have boring conversations. Some might say that we are trouble together ,but we like to say were having just a little bit of fun!
Groomsman
My brother from another mother. I met Mr. Lovett through my older brother Augustine. He then managed to stay with us for a few years, turning the 3 musketeers into the "Wolf Pack". He sure did bring laughter and joy into our family, there was never a dull moment in the Borrego's Household. There have been many late nights making memories and many empty "Little Caesars" pizza boxes. KD fit right into our family and that was no surprise. "Faith, Love, Loyalty"
Flower Girl
Mia came into our lives when I was a senior in high school. I thought, "This is crazy! I'm almost an adult and having a baby sister!", but I wouldn't change it for the world. Mia is my young, carefree sister. She might drive me nuts at times, but she is my daring little one. I admire her courage and "diva personality". She is not afraid to stand up in front of a crowd and give it her all. Since she was a baby she's always wanted her sissy by her side, and forever I will be. I will cherish the moments that we share, she will always be my baby.
Flower Girl
Coming into Mark family at a young age, I was able to see most of his nieces and nephews be born. Gabriela (Gabby) was one of the first. She is my creative little one. I love that she is caring and sweet to everyone. She doesn't have a bad bone in her body. I love our sleepovers and hearing her stories, I cherish these moments as she gets older and can remember the memories we have created.
Flower Girl
Emma, oh Emma... She is my spunky firecracker! I love that this girl is not afraid to be herself. Watching Emma grow up has been an exciting adventure. She is a spontaneous young lady that can rock the most colorful and vibrant clothes. Emma can party all night long and dance the night away.
Ring Bearer
Seeing James grow up has been an adventurous ride. He is a daring one that is not afraid of much. He is our cookie eating, Harry Potter lover one of a kind kid.
Honorary Flower Girl
My Allie girl is a blessing to my family. She is our goofball, and is definitely one to test our patience. Everyone that Allie comes across can't help but fall in love with her hugs and her sweetness. She brightens our darkest days and completes our family.
