Online dating became mainstream and after a few swipes, we met December of 2016. It was a typical first date at a bar in West Village over drinks, 21 questions and a few awkward laughs. Ariel thought it was the "worst" first date ever and was ready to ghost Kris until he asked to hang out again. It is safe to say that the second date went well and the rest is history!

It all started with an innocent lie about a family BBQ in Atlantic City. After a few months of scheming, Kris had planned a sunset picnic on the beach for the big proposal. Ariel ignored many signs on the trip down including: Kris' mom almost revealing the plan on the phone while connected to CarPlay, Kris choosing Ariel's entire outfit, and mysteriously parking a block away when arriving to the location. Ariel couldn't believe it until she saw the picnic set up. Tears were shed and the ring was revealed....SHE SAID YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
