Question

What is this party for & what is the vibe?

Answer

In November of last year we had an intimate wedding ceremony. While we would have loved to invite everyone, we are hoping you will join us for this larger celebration of love instead! This will be an informal picnic event with a side of robot fights and pool party. Dress casual or to your comfort level, feel free to bring a dish for the pot luck, BYOB, and don't forget a swimsuit and towel! If you've ever attended one of my grandparents 4th of July parties in the past, this should be just like that, but without the hay rides. TLDR: We got married. Come to our pool party!

Question

Will there be robot fighting?!

Answer

YES!!!! This is going to be a robot event everyone!!!! We just confirmed that there will be an 8x8 full combat cage from NHRL!!! If you are a robot person, we are doing a no pit space set up. Please come with completely ready robots to fight. There will be a few table to que bots, find matches, and charge batteries if you don't get broken. For non robot people, we are planning to set up non-destructive driving matches for everyone to test out bots! There is also a pool, food, cornhole, and possibly low power rockets launches!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

We will be serving a variety of grill foods; burgers, hot dogs, meats, veggies, as well as salads & desserts, etc. We encourage you to bring a dish you would like to share with us, but you do not have to, especially if you are traveling from afar. There will be an area for people to bring pot luck style foods such as salads, crockpot meals, desserts, chips, drinks, etc. if you'd like! TLDR: Yes

Question

Will there be booze?

Answer

There won't be a bar, but please feel free to bring your own. Non-alcoholic beverages like water, iced tea, and sodas will be provided. TLDR: BYOB

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

59 Jaynes Rd. is the very last house on the road, which is a dead end. You literally cannot go too far. When you see the stop sign you are in the right place. There will be grassy areas to the left and right once you enter past the stop sign. If that fills up, there is parking along Jaynes Rd. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not park on their grass or block their driveways. TLDR: If grass is full, park on street.

Question

Is any of this information going to change?

Answer

The information and/or services provided may change at any time without notice... Joking - but really, who knows? This date is pretty far away still. We will keep this website up to date if anything changes. If enough people ask me the same question it will make it onto this list. We may even put together an actual menu as we get closer. TLDR: IDK, check back.

For all the days along the way
