The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm sharp in accordance with the Jewish Sabbath. Please plan to arrive between 5:45 and 6:15 so that you can be seated and, for male guests, have time to visit the kippah table.
A kippah, or yarmulke, is a Jewish head covering traditionally worn by men during ceremony and prayer. We will provide kippahs for our guests at the entrance of the ceremony. Please take one if you wish - you do not have to be Jewish to wear it!
With the exception of the bridal party, the ceremony and reception will be adults only.
Unless your invitation indicates otherwise, we kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests as our venue will be at its maximum capacity.
The attire for the wedding is black-tie optional. Men should wear a tuxedo or suit, and women should wear an evening gown or midi-/tea-length cocktail dress. Bright colors are encouraged!
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate.
Complimentary valet parking will be provided for guests who wish to drive.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place inside the Estate. During cocktail hour, guests will have the option to go outside.
In the spring of 2016, Ariel and Kasey happened to take the same political science class at the University of Georgia. The course was taught by Congressman John Barrow, a visiting professor at UGA. They sat across the room from each other, but did not actually meet until Professor Barrow invited the class to a farewell reception at the end of the semester. When they returned to UGA in the fall, they kept running into each other around school and realized they had several mutual friends. When Ariel asked Kasey to attend her semi-formal in November, Kasey called his mother to tell her how excited he was and that he “really liked this girl.” One fraternity formal in Charleston later, they were officially dating and have been in love ever since. Kasey proposed on the beach in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv. They had booked a last-minute trip to Israel to visit Ariel’s family, and, unknown to Ariel, Kasey had a ring in his pocket the entire time. Kasey waited until sunset and tricked Ariel into thinking he had made dinner reservations for the wrong time at Goldman Gardens, a restaurant on the water. As they were killing time on the Tayelet (Tel Aviv’s boardwalk), he surprised her by getting down on one knee as he asked her to be his wife. She said yes. Ariel and Kasey are blessed to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends this August!
