Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Jefferson Street Mansion in Benicia, California. The ceremony will take place outdoors, so we recommend checking the weather ahead of the event and dressing comfortably for the day. In early October, Benicia is typically warm during the day and cooler in the evening. The reception will follow in a large enclosed tent, which will be temperature controlled so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration comfortably.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM, and we kindly ask guests to arrive between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM, so everyone has plenty of time to park, find their seat, and get settled before the ceremony begins. We can’t wait to share this special moment with you!

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available behind the venue. There will be a direct entrance from the parking lot to the Venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

While there is no formal dress code, we invite guests to lean into an elevated, romantic look for the day. Colors such as champagne, taupe, warm beige, mocha, dusty rose, mauve, plum, olive, forest green, slate blue, navy, charcoal, and black would beautifully complement our wedding aesthetic. We kindly ask guests to avoid cabernet and mulberry to keep those shades reserved for the wedding party, along with white, ivory, and cream.

Are children invited?

This will be an adults-only celebration, with attendance limited to the older children and adults specifically named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to our guest list, we’re only able to accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. We really appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you there!

When will I receive my invitation, and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Invitations will be sent out in July. Once you receive yours, you’ll be able to RSVP directly through Zola. We kindly ask that all RSVPs be completed by September 7th.

Will you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. For those who have asked, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund, and we'll have a card box at the ceremony to help us start our marriage with a special trip together. We are so grateful for your love, support, and generosity.
