I (Ariel) was working at the school gym and spying John as my "gym crush" since I first saw him come in mid-October. It was after watching him curl those 45's ;) I found him on Instagram and took a shot at asking for his SnapChat. After we added each other and talked for a while we went on our first date December 2nd, 2018 at the Mason Jar in good old Cheney Washington, hitting it off nearly right away by the same improper pronunciation of jalapeno as 'gel-op-ino'. After getting to know each other for only 45 minutes it felt like we had known each other for a lifetime. There was this instant connection and trust between us already. Although he was hesitant to even show up for our first date, I guess it all worked out in the end. On May 25, 2019, my gymcrush got down on one knee at Col Solare winery in Richland Washington and asked me to be his forever.
