FAQs

Question

WHEN IS THE WEDDING?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be having our big ceremony as we originally planned. Our plan is to have an intimate wedding, and then enjoy drinks, dessert, & dancing after. The goal is to catch this nice weather before it’s gone!

Question

COVID PROTOCOL

Answer

Ohio lifted most statewide pandemic-related health orders in June 2021. So wearing masks will be optional. We will check temperatures at the door and ask that guests be mindful. If you feel the slightest bit off, have a headache, only have a small cough, it doesn’t matter! Let us know so we can send you the link to enjoy from home because we don’t want anyone bringing any forms of illness to the celebration. For the safety of all guests we would like all guests to get tested within 48 hours of the wedding. This is a request but it is not mandatory.

Question

WHO TO CALL WITH QUESTIONS/ CONCERNS?

Answer

You Should Find Answers To Any Questions Answered Here. However should you not be able to find an answer, send an email to lilbittinaa@gmail.com

Question

DO I REALLY NEED TO RSVP?

Answer

YES! Yes! Yes! RSVP is required to attend the wedding. Only invited guest will be able to RSVP. If it includes a “Plus Guest” that is your plus one please decline or add their information to the RSVP. This is how seating and food is being tracked to ensure a comfortable experience for all. Please make the bride and groom stress free and RSVP!

Question

WHAT IF I RSVP’d BUT CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

Answer

PLEASE immediately inform the bride or groom if you are unable to attend after submitting your rsvp. We would appreciate the thoughtfulness and proper etiquette. Also we will make sure to send you the zoom link so you can virtually be with us.

Question

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar with beer, wine and signature cocktails. Bartender will be accepting tips. That being said we ask that guests drink responsibly and would like to remind you a police officer will be on sight.

Question

GIFTS & REGISTRY

Answer

We’re grateful to have you sharing in our day, and couldn’t think of a gift as good. That being said, we do have an Amazon registry with random items we wouldn’t mind receiving as wedding gifts & we encourage guests to participate in bringing a minimum $25 for our money dance. Monetary gifts could also be sent via Cashapp $Eezymonney or donated right here on the site under the registry tab. Physical gifts can also be brought to the wedding. However you can and choose to give is not a concern we are grateful regardless.

Question

WHAT IS A MONEY DANCE?

Answer

In Liberian tradition, It’s when the bride, supported by her groom, is surrounded by a large circle of family and friends as they dance to ONE traditional song for the money their family and friends have for them. As the bride and groom dances, the participants shower them with several dollars from $1 to $100 bills, so the more they dance the more money they receive. Money is given to start the newlyweds off in marriage with monetary blessing. It shouldn’t have to be said, but please do not be the person trying to slide away with a few dollars at the couple’s expense.

Question

DO WE HAVE TO GET A GIFT FROM THE REGISTRY?

Answer

Absolutely NOT!! We appreciate any and everything you give us. Please feel free to purchase OR give whatever you would like. If you only want to participate in the money dance, only do that! Whatever you choose!

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Although we would love to share this moment with everyone, we would prefer to keep our union intimate.

Question

CAN PICTURES BE IMMEDIATELY POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures and videos on to their social media channels. HOWEVER our only request(s) is that you PLEASE keep the ceremony unplugged (picture and video free). We are paying a professional and we are also going to be streaming and don’t want interferences with that. Both the cocktail hour and reception, feel free to snap away. Please tag each photo with our wedding hashtags #WalkerToTheAlter22 #LoveIsEezy #FireIceWalkerWedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES WHO SHOULD I INFORM?

Answer

Please update your RSVP with any known food allergies.

Question

WILL THERE BE A VEGETARIAN OPTION FOR DINNER?

Answer

We want to accommodate all dietary needs of our guests. Should you require special dietary restrictions or conditions please list it under your RSVP. We will have a wide variety of options.
