Auf Ruf Shabbat Service

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Aufruf is a Yiddish term meaning, "to call up." On the Friday Shabbat, prior to the wedding, Ariel and Devin will be called to the Torah for a blessing called an aliyah. Following this special Sabbath tradition, the rabbi will offer a blessing and at that time it is customary to throw candies at the couple to wish them a sweet life together. Devin and Ariel encourage everyone to share in this honor regardless of religious affiliations. While an RSVP is usually not necessary for synagogue, the temple has requested our anticipated attendees for security purposes. After, please enjoy an enhanced oneg dessert in the Synagogue social hall.

Black Tie Invited

Please use the gated entrance on the North side of Yamato Road, located just West of Jog Road. You may enter through the left most or center lane. Entrances on Clint Moore & Jog will also be accessible this evening. Valet parking, should you choose to do so, is a non-tipping service.
