Benny and Ariel met on a dating website no one has even heard of anymore called Hinge. After many Hinge messages back and forth Ariel was interested in meeting him in person. But Benny wasnt getting the hint ;) A: "Hows your week looking Benny?" B: "Not bad working, monday, wednesday and friday." A: "Oh a 3 day work week, not bad, I get out of out work early on Tuesdays." B: " Nice" A: hmmm ok... "So Benny what are you doing this weekend?" B: " I am hanging out with my grandma." A: That's sweet! 2 weeks go by... A: "So Benny how's your week going? Any special plans this week?" B: "Just work and hanging out with my grandma." Another week goes by and still no date invite from Benny. Ariel heads back to Maryland for Rosh Hashanah. Mom Cross asks Ariel Mom: " Ariel who are you dating these days? A: "No one, there was this one cute Jewish boy but her never asked me out and was always hanging out with his grandma." Mom: sees Hinge profile " He is cute. You should message him and say Shanah Tovah Umetuka." So Ariel did and got a response back. B: "Same to you, I am spending my holiday with my Grandma visiting from London." And sends a picture of them together. A: She does exist! He Looks good in a suit B : " Ariel want to grab dinner at Kashkaval Garden next week?" A: " I think that would work for me."
