Our first date was in 2010. We started chatting on J Date about our dogs, Zeus and Nala. It didn't take long before we decided to meet in person - Adam was living on 86th and 3rd and Ariel on 96th and 3rd. What followed was a short and fun romance filled with lots of nights out and a life changing trip to Vermont, but we decided to go our separate ways...temporarily :) Until, in early 2017, seven years later, our paths crossed again on the dating app, Bumble. Adam had just recently installed the app after being deluged by advertising from the app at his work subway stop, and Ariel was getting back into the dating game. As most people with experience on dating apps know, when you see an ex you usually swipe left (reject a potential match). However, Adam always loved everything about Ariel and couldn't come up with a good reason not to pursue the opportunity. Ariel had told a friend not long before that if she could run into any ex in the city, it would be Adam. And so it was fate that they matched, and after a brief, funny conversation, we met up only a few days later for a sushi dinner in Hoboken. Adam was blown away by Ariel when he saw her for the first time in seven years. Over the next few hours at dinner the conversation flowed as if we were still dating. Not surprisingly, Adam had an abundance of photos and media from their previous relationship, and by the end of the night we knew something big had just happened...again! Our romance blossomed, and we knew very quickly that we would not let each other go again. We are so excited, and look forward to sharing this celebration of our love with you!
