Writing your online dating profile is so important!
Noah tried to grab Ariel's "looking for" section of her dating profile and label it as his own. Ariel was both flattered and horrified that someone would try and plagiarize. Turned out for the best :) A few months later we revisited the "looking for" section details to compare notes from the advertisement to the reality to check for accuracy. Description was pretty darn fitting!

“What do you have going on this week?” I asked my friend Shira one Shabbat in March. “It’s funny,” answered Shira, “Last week, I reconnected with one of my campers from Camp Stone. She just made aliyah, and we’re going out to brunch later this week.” The following evening, after Shabbat, Ariel and I met up for our first date - cocktails at Pompidou on Emek Refaim. (The cocktails were alright, the setting was nice, the company was evidently splendid.) I asked Ariel the same question: “So, what do you have going on this week?” “It’s funny,” replied Ariel, flashing her dazzling smile. “I just reconnected with my old counselor from Camp Stone, and we’re going out for brunch!”

...and it still wasn't time yet
Noah and I almost met two times before we ultimately did and started dating. Back in December 2023, we matched on a dating site called JSwipe but I was leaving Israel shortly and the conversation did not continue beyond a few short exchanges. When we matched again on JSwipe in March 2024, Noah waited until after a few dates to reference our previous chat history and gently point out how I had ghosted him back in December. I was invited to a singles wine and dessert event at a family friend's home on a Tuesday. I cancelled my RSVP to the event in order to go on a second date with someone I had high hopes for a future with. Turns out Noah was at the wine and dessert event! Lucky for us, Noah wasn't too enthused about the prospects he met that evening, and I didn't go on a third date with the other man. Noah and I met four days later for our first date.
