How do I get to Olema, CA?

Answer

SFO is the best airport for cross country flights, and is 1.5 hours from Olema. Sonoma has a smaller airport (STS), for those coming from the west coast. The drive is 1 hour to Olema, and skips the city traffic. Oakland airport (OAK) is also an option from the west coast, about 1.5 hours, and skips some city traffic. Driving, Olema is about 1.5 hours from San Francisco, and 1 hour from the East Bay.

What about parking at Olema House?

Answer

For those not staying at Olema House, parking is VERY limited. But, we have a plan! There are many spots along the roads nearby. In addition, you can park at Sacred Heart Church, Olema, CA @ 10189 Highway 1.  There will be shuttles on Saturday and Sunday from the Church to Olema House And, to save yourself the hassle, please carpool :) For those staying at OH for the weekend, you will have a spot at the hotel.

I need a ride to Olema House from the airport. Can you help? Uber/Lyft won't take me to Olema!

We are happy to help coordinate rides to/from the airport. Please do not rely on Lyft/Uber to take you to Olema House; since it is kinda remote, they often decline the rides to Olema. If you are interested in a ride, please email Dahlia (dahlia.norry@gmail.com)

What will the weather be like in Olema?

Answer

Day time will be 65-70 degrees. We hope most days are sunny, but there can be some foggy overcast towards the coast. Night time can be into the 50s. Please bring a warm jacket! We will be wearing sneakers and puffy jackets during the night events, including at the wedding reception.

Should I actually wear a winter jacket at the wedding reception?

Yes!! The nights near the coast can be cold. Dahlia and Ari will be wearing sneakers and puffy jackets! We hope you do too!
