Ian and Arica decided that they wanted to go on a road trip. Where to? Vermont! They packed up their things including a suit and a white dress into their teardrop camper and off they went! Destination set for a quaint dairy farm bed and breakfast in the mountains of Vermont where they met Carmen. Carmen, who is a wedding officiant/florist/photographer met the couple and performed a quiet, intimate ceremony during the golden hour on a warm July evening. To celebrate their elopement, the next day, the couple decided to take on the tallest peak in Vermont! They hiked up Mt. Mansfield together to take in the beautiful birdseye views and toasted to a life together. Travelling back from their trip through Canada, they experienced fine dining in Montreal as well as staying at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere Ontario. Their story doesn’t end there however, the two then decided to uproot and move to Ketchikan, Alaska where they recently purchased a new home and began new careers. Athough, Ian and Arica had a non-traditional wedding, they would love to return “home” to Wisconsin and celebrate their marriage with their family and friends in June 2020!
