Go by the spelling of the name on the invitation.

Answer

You should click the "Decline with regret" button so the main planner can have a proper head count.

Question

What happens if I didn't RSVP in time and I'm still able to make it to the reception?

Answer

You can drive to the reception, but you will not be able to enter. The invitations are coming late and the RSVP deadline will be extended because of the late arrival of the invitations. If you don't find 1 minute or less in your day to RSVP then you won't be allowed to enter the event.
