How can I RSVP?

Head back to the top of this page and look for 'RSVP' in the navigation, give it a click, enter your name as it appears on your invitation, and you'll be guided from there. Easy peasy!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'd love to know you're coming, please RSVP before August 1st. For those making the trip from out of town, we'd gently encourage you to think about travel sooner rather than later. Once you have a sense of your plans, our hotel blocks are ready and waiting. Head over to the Travel tab for all the details.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’re aiming for cocktail attire. Our venue, the MV Skansonia is an absolutely stunning setting, and we’d love for the look of the day to feel polished and intentional, while still allowing everyone to feel comfortable and themselves. Think elevated, comfortable, and entirely you.

Do you have a color palette?

If you'd like to complement the palette, our colors are terracotta, sand, and eucalyptus.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Our bespoke buffet dinner will include a range of thoughtful options to suit many dietary needs. While we may not be able to accommodate every request, please reach out if you have a severe allergy - we want everyone to enjoy the evening safely.

Can I bring my date/kids?

Because space is limited, we’re only able to accommodate those guests specifically named on the invitation. We’ve made this decision with care and are so grateful for your understanding.

What is the venue like?

Answer

The MV Skansonia is a beautifully restored ferry, once retired from its route between Tacoma and Vashon Island, now permanently docked on Lake Union with the immaculate Seattle skyline behind it. Our ceremony will take place on the bow under open skies, with dinner moving inside the warmly restored interior, and dancing returning to the bow as the evening unfolds. If Seattle decides to show up with some weather, we have a full indoor plan ready, warm, intimate, and just as beautiful. And for those with sea legs to spare, not to worry, the Skansonia is permanently docked, and even on the rare rough day, she stays remarkably calm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there is not a dedicated parking lot, street parking is available around the venue, though spots can fill quickly. Surrounding residential neighborhoods are generally accommodating, and we encourage carpooling or a rideshare if you're able. Some of our hotel blocks are even within walking distance for those with a little left in the tank after the dance floor!

We are lucky to already have a home filled with what we need, and your presence is the greatest gift of all. If you wish to give, we’ve created a honeymoon fund to help us make priceless memories together.
