We're Getting Married!

We met on Hinge and started talking around Thanksgiving 2019. Arianna was intrigued by his witty conversation and his handsome profile pics and they decided to meet. Our first date was scheduled and planned, but in true Arianna style she asked for a raincheck a few hours before because she knew she wouldn't be first date ready after a night out for her 10 year high school reunion. Fortunately Joe didn't hold this last minute cancelation against her, and Arianna arrived for their first date part deux promptly on time at a wine bar in San Francisco. We enjoyed a night of wine, charcuterie, and great conversation, and the rest, they say, is history.

We finally made our relationship *Facebook official* (not really, do people still use Facebook?), in late February 2020. On our first trip together skiing in Tahoe, covid shut everything down, so we headed down the road to Joe's family vacation home in Colfax. What was supposed to be a few days spent in this mountain town while things cooled down back in the Bay Area, turned into a 3 month residency. We decided to make our cohabitation official by moving into our first apartment together in San Francisco. After a few more months of covid shutdown, it seemed to make sense to add a furry friend to the family. We took home our first dog Jackson in December 2020 who helped keep us sane by chewing up floor boards and having multiple daily walks that took 45 minutes to walk a few blocks. And because it wasn't crowded enough, we gave Jackson a best friend in August 2021, Penny. We had finally outgrown our San Francisco apartment and now have a nice home in Berkeley with a huge yard for the doggies to run and play. We love our family and Jackson and Penny are very excited (as are we) for mom & dad to get married and for our next move, to buy a home!
