If you're making a weekend out of your trip, Downtown Sanford is just 10–15 minutes from the hotel and venue. It's a charming historic district filled with locally owned restaurants, craft breweries, cocktail bars, wine bars, coffee shops, and unique boutiques—making it the perfect spot to grab dinner, enjoy drinks, or explore before or after the wedding festivities. The bars we love: the Barn, The Station, Wet spot, and George’s. The restaurants we like fuel city bbq, Saint John River Steak & Seafood.
Orange City is just a short drive from the Hampton Inn DeBary/Deltona, making it an easy area to explore during your stay. Guests can visit Blue Spring State Park, known for its beautiful springs, nature trails, and manatees, or enjoy a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants, including LongHorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, Chili's Grill & Bar, and Olive Garden Italian Restaurant.
DeBary is a great spot to relax, grab a bite, or enjoy a drink while you’re in town for the wedding! Some of our favorite restaurant recommendations include Bagel King, La Strega, and O’Leary’s Irish Pub. If you’re looking for a place to grab a drink and hang out, check out Shots, Bulldog Pub, or Gypsy. There are also plenty of other local spots nearby if you want to explore! Gemini Springs is also a great to walk around at.
DeLand is about 20–minutes from the Hampton Inn DeBary/Deltona, making it an easy day trip for guests. DeLand has a charming historic downtown with plenty of local restaurants, antique shops, and thrift stores to explore. For food, we recommend El Taco Amigo and Big Rig 2, along with Tony’s Pizza and Gator’s. DeLand is also a great place for antique shopping with spots like Marketplace at Rivertown, Vault 44 Vintage Antiques, and Uniques Marketplace, and Angels Thrift Shop. For parks and outdoor activities, guests can check out Hontoon Island State Park, DeLeon Springs State Park.
