Officiant
Monica is the light and often the life of every room she enters, endlessly playful, competitive, and full of love. Arianna and Jacob chose her as their officiant because they wanted someone whose energy, wisdom, and love could set the tone for their marriage a guide to help lay the foundation for their life together. Arianna’s aunt through marriage, Monica embodies the power of chosen family, showing that love and support can come from wherever it’s nurtured. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for Arianna or Jacob, and her example of marriage with her husband Mike built on humor, mutual respect, and unwavering support is an inspiration. Together, they’ve raised two incredible children, reflecting the same love and admiration that Monica brings to every relationship she has. As officiant, Monica will not only celebrate their union but also serve as a living example of the love, joy, and partnership that Arianna and Jacob hope to build in their own marriage. They are beyond honored to have her guiding this pivotal moment of their lives
Maid of Honor
One-third of the trio/Powerpuff Girls and the unofficial soundtrack to Arianna’s life. Xzandra never arrives quietly there will be music, there will be dancing, and she will absolutely have snacks on her like it’s a full-time personality trait (because it is). She’s effortlessly funny, always shows up, and somehow manages to keep everyone fed, entertained, and just the right amount of unhinged. Technically cousins through marriage, but God clearly had other plans if you see them together, you’d swear they were sisters with how naturally alike they are. As one of Arianna’s Maids of Honor, she’s officially in charge of keeping her on task and sane, her upbeat grounding energy balancing out the chaos in the best way.
Best Man
Jacob and Cijay first crossed paths in elementary school, but their friendship didn’t truly begin until middle school. By junior year, the two had become inseparable, bonded so closely that they felt more like brothers than friends. Now 26 and heading toward 27, their families share a deep connection, and the two have built memories together from Arlington to Cancun, with a long-awaited trip to Japan on the horizon. They spend their time listening to music, dancing, taking shots of tequila, and cracking open Dos Equis while arguing playfully about football—CJ devoted to the Cowboys, Jacob loyal to the Eagles. One of their signature traditions is a game they call “What are the odds?” where they challenge each other with dares, count from one to ten, and if they land on the same number, the dare has to be done on the spot. After years of knowing each other, they can read the backs of each other’s minds like the backs of their own hands. They both wear glasses, both dream of getting rich, and no matter how much life shifts around them, their bond stays steady—two lives running side by side, shaped by loyalty, laughter, and the kind of friendship that never fades.
Maid of Honor
The two thirds of the powerpuff trio and the human embodiment of anything pink, or Hello Kitty. Valerie can pick up a new hobby and master it like she’s training for the Olympics, tennis? Easy. Golf? Sure. Theater? Obviously. A true jack-of-all-trades with the sweetest personality. She’s the friend Arianna goes to for creative direction, clarity, and honest opinions. As the second Maid of Honor, Valerie is responsible for keeping Arianna grounded, cared for, and fully documentedbecause nobody captures memories like she does. She’s the designated memory bank, emotional support girl, and hype-woman all in one.
Groomsman
Hector Rodriguez Jr., soon to be Jacob’s brother in law. Jr is a diehard gamer with a brain wired for anime, manga, and aerospace engineering, Hector is the kind of guy who can explain rocket science one minute and roast you in a video game the next. He and Jacob bond over late-night conversations about games, shows, and their extremely questionable inside joke about “the Gooners” and “the Diddlers,” which nobody else understands and probably shouldn’t. They once took Hector tailgating to get him drunk for the first time, and he immediately started vibing with a group of college girls like he’d been doing it for years. Now he’s focused on his studies, but he’s still the same down-to-earth, funny, ridiculously smart kid who wants to become an aerospace engineer. Kind, loyal, and always ready to say yes to anything Jacob suggests, Hector fits into the family effortlessly, proving that some brother in laws feel like real brothers from the start.
Bridesmaid
Alexyss and Arianna accidentally discovered they’re basically clones especially in the anxiousness department. If you see two girls panicking in sync somewhere at the wedding, it’s them. She’s the kindest soul with the fiercest protectiveness, always taking care of everyone without being asked, and somehow keeping it together while making everyone else feel safe in the chaos. Arianna is beyond excited to officially call Alexyss her sister, and the day wouldn’t be the same without her traveling all the way from Fort Worth to be here hopefully with a plan to calm any mid-ceremony freak outs along the way!
Groomsman
Jeremiah, four years younger than Jacob, recently graduated from Texas A&M—an accomplishment that fills Jacob with nothing but pride and love. As the first younger brother, Jeremiah grew up in Jacob’s shadow in the best way possible, following him everywhere, sharing his interests, copying his goals, and turning everything into a friendly rivalry. Whether it was football, basketball, or baseball, Jeremiah always chose the opposite team—he became a Jets fan to Jacob’s Eagles, a Lakers fan to Jacob’s Heat phase, a Yankees fan to Jacob’s Dodgers—never out of spite, but because competing with his big brother was his favorite sport. The two spent childhood navigating their parents’ unique brand of chaos, bonding over shared experiences, blasting rap music, swimming (with Jacob still proudly claiming the title of the faster swimmer), and battling through intense games of Monopoly. Whenever Jeremiah won, Jacob would throw a fit, not because of the game itself, but because losing to his younger brother felt like a cosmic violation. Through it all, Jeremiah has grown into someone smart, determined, funny, and deeply connected to Jacob—proving that while they may cheer for rival teams, they’ve always played on the same side in life.
Bridesmaid
Jennifer and Arianna have been inseparable since elementary school, earning the nickname “the comadres” for always being side by side and always getting into trouble. She doesn’t put up with nonsense, commands the room without even trying, and is the friend who reminds you to stand your ground while making it look effortless. She’s a proud plant mom of two humans and countless leafy babies, somehow managing to keep them all alive and thriving. After abandoning (jk) Arianna to go make her mark in San Antonio, she’s finally back (well, kind of) to stand by her cousin on the big day. Jennifer has seen Arianna through every season of life, and the wedding wouldn’t be the same without her energy, humor, and legendary comadre vibes.
Groomsman
Jacob’s second younger brother, eleven years younger than him, but somehow already walking around like a mini-version of Jacob who refuses to admit it. Despite the huge age gap, he and Jacob share the same sports loyalty he’s an Eagles fan just like his big brother and copies Jacob’s favorite teams with the kind of subtlety only a younger sibling could think is sneaky. Personality-wise, he puts on this tough act like he’s totally different, totally independent, totally not trying to be like Jacob… yet everything from his hobbies to his reactions says otherwise, and Jacob sees right through it every time. He’s already shaping up to be the best athlete in the family, and with his insane talent for math, everyone half-expects him to follow Jeremiah’s path into engineering one day. Jacob can’t wait to see the man he becomes. Their bond runs deep even if they hide their affection under jokes, eye-rolls, and pretending not to care, the truth is they probably feel that love stronger than most siblings ever do.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin is Arianna’s bonus mom-slash-big sister-slash partner-in-crime for all things fun and slightly questionable. She’s the ultimate confidant, the ride-or-die for TJ Maxx and Menchie’s runs, and the true crime–obsessed co-conspirator you never knew you needed. Honestly, if you’ve met Caitlin, you’ve basically met Arianna, so much of Arianna’s personality comes straight from her influence. They’re always joking about how they tested the theory on nature versus nurture and it’s definitely nurture, considering how much alike they are. Beyond all the laughs and adventures, Caitlin is fiercely loyal and one of the family’s biggest supporters through everything. When it comes to having someone in your corner, Caitlin is always there ready with advice, a joke, or a plan to make sure no one messes with the people she loves.
Groomsman
Uncle Cris has always been a force in Jacob’s life—the kind of uncle who taught him how to swim by tossing him straight into the pool, then diving in to save him when he inevitably sank. It set the tone for their whole relationship: Cris pushed Jacob into the deep end of life, but he was always there to pull him back up. Growing up, he was the go-to person whenever Jacob got drunk, needed advice about girls, or just wanted someone who wouldn’t judge him for being a mess. They spent years watching basketball and football together, yelling at the TV as a Cowboys fan and an Eagles fan waged friendly war in the living room. Cris is the one who made Jacob a strong swimmer, but he also helped build the confidence behind it. Whenever the family drinks together, he and Jacob inevitably end up belting out “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen—loud, off-key, and acting like it’s a sacred family ritual passed down for generations. Now a proud parent to Amelia and Dominic—Cris still shows the same steady loyalty he always has. Any time Jacob needs help, Cris is there without hesitation or judgment, standing firmly in his corner. It’s become a running joke that Jacob’s fiancée should be careful, because Uncle Cris may have her back too, but he definitely has Jacob’s.
Bridesmaid
Alexa is an espresso martini-loving force of nature with the most contagious laugh and the brightest personality. She’s the friend you go to when you need convincing to do anything, whether it’s going out, shopping, or just making life more fun, she’s always down. She’s newly married, and witnessing her love story up close at her wedding was a true blessing to both Arianna and Jacob. Arianna met Alexa through their moms (best friends and equally chaotic), and it was basically destiny: two crazy kids continuing the tradition. Bonus: her husband and Arianna’s fiancé are practically soulmates too, making this whole thing feel perfectly aligned.
Groomsman
Jacob met Pablo thanks to Arianna’s long-time friendship with Alexa, and what started as a casual introduction turned into an instant, almost ridiculous level of chemistry and ELECTRICITY. From day one, they could talk for hours bouncing from topic to topic, laughing at everything, and turning even the most random conversations into ongoing jokes. One of Jacob’s most consistent habits now is asking, anytime Arianna mentions hanging out with Alexa: “Is Pablo coming?” Or even better: “Can Pablo come?” If Pablo’s there, Jacob’s automatically in. So of course he wanted him in the wedding no question asked.
