Arianna and Craig actually attended the same schools in middle and high school, but they didn’t meet until college. They met through a mutal friend who brought Arianna along to a party one night. Little did they know they were meeting their future spouse for the first time. The two of them eventually started talking a lot and Craig asked Arianna on her dream date to the River of Lights. At the end of the night, they shared pancakes at iHop and Craig asked Arianna to be his girlfriend.

Arianna stayed the night at her parents’ house on Christmas Eve, as she normally does. Craig was supposed to show up Christmas morning to open gifts, but was a no-show. After opening gifts, Arianna turned around to find Craig and Barb (Mother of the Groom) standing in the hallway behind her. Arianna was confused, but had a feeling she knew what was going to happen. "The Only Exception" by Paramore (Arianna's favorite band) started playing and Craig walked over to Arianna and got down on one knee. He pulled a ring out of his pocket (of his matching PJs that Arianna got for the two of them to wear) and asked Arianna to marry him. In that moment, Arianna was overwhelmed with happiness. She, of course, said “yes,” and ugly cried... a lot.
