John and Arianna met for the first time in a Lander Hall dorm common room at the University of Washington during Early Fall Start (EFS). A few of our wedding guests may remember a friend who suggested Arianna’s girl friends at the time bring face masks with them to the common space down the hall. Little did Arianna know that she was about to meet her future husband for the first time and her first words would be “Hi, would you like a face mask?”. Johnny and his EFS friends stoically put on their spa face masks and new freshman year friends were made. Johnny and Arianna were friends for all of freshman year until a fateful evening spring quarter when Arianna’s best friend “let slip” to Johnny that Arianna had a crush on him! Johnny took the hint and after a first date at Chipotle on the Ave, the two were inseparable. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of our relationship with all of you who have supported and guided us though our first 8 years together. Cheers to forever!
