When Arianna went to school in Monroe, LA she made a friend. His name is William, and he is actually in Hannah’s bridal party!! William and Arianna remained friends after she moved back to Hammond to continue her education. After that, William started a job at McAllister’s Deli in Ruston, Louisiana. This is where he met Hannah! Close to Thanksgiving in 2022, William came down to visit Arianna. During the visit his friend, Hannah, FaceTimed him. We talked for a little bit, discussed music taste. A few weeks later, Hannah added Arianna on SnapChat and so our journey began. It wasn’t until January 14th of 2023 that we would meet in person for the first time. William and Hannah came down to New Orleans together for a weekend. We actually had our first date on Bourbon Street and William was there the whole time LOL! Nonetheless, we had an amazing time getting to know each other. By day three of the weekend, we had our first kiss!! It took us a few months to actually start dating, and Arianna asked Hannah to be her girlfriend on April 6, 2023 and well, here we are now!
Ari’s Proposal: I originally started planning a proposal in December of 2024. In January was when I had the idea to go to Austin, Texas. Hannah and I’s first vacation together was to Austin to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family. We spent a day of the trip, just us, exploring and riding scooters around the city. We fell in love with it, but even more so with picturing life together outside of what we knew. It became special to us very quickly, and we knew we wanted to go back. I couldn’t think of a better place to propose than the first place we got to fully experience together. I quickly started searching for spaces to propose. My search led me down a rabbit hole of quirky places in Austin, the kind that give it that charm. I stumbled on a place called the “Sekrit Theater” with a beautiful glass greenhouse covered in greenery. I was jaw dropped and saw my vision come to life. I proceeded to choose a photographer that would capture our raw and real emotions, but in a way that still made the moment ours. (Our photographer, Lauren, did a spectacular job capturing our love and our joy by the way). When I brought Hannah to the Sekrit Theater, she thought we were going to see a play before dinner. Aaand then she saw the “Reserved for Private Event” sign and caught on real quick. Unfortunately, tri-pods are hard to hide, so she saw that too. I handwrote a speech for Hannah and read it out to her. When I got down on one knee, of course I had to knock over the vase of lilies right next to me! So we laughed and I tried again, this time with much better luck. SHE SAID YES!! After photos, we called our loved ones and celebrated with the best steak dinner we have ever had. It truly was magical and I still can’t even believe it happened. Hannah’s Proposal: Coming soon…
