The dress code for our wedding is formal attire/black-tie optional. Formal wedding attire sits between cocktail and black tie on the wedding dress code scale. It's slightly more elevated than cocktail attire and a touch less dressy than a black-tie nuptial.
First of March in Melbourne is the first day of autumn. Because of global warming, the cool air might be delayed so it can still be balmy as we enjoy the end of summer.
Everything will take place in one venue, the Windmill Gardens. The ceremony will be held in the Ada Rose Chapel which is at the back of the property at three in the afternoon. The cocktail hour will be at the foyer of the reception hall and you are free to roam the property until the reception that will start at half past five.
Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Thank you for your kind understanding. :)
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event except for family so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! However, if you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, a contribution towards our wishing well during the reception will be warmly received.
