We met at the Jukehouse in 2014 at a birthday celebration for Shannon's frat brother. I was standing along the wall talking to someone and Shannon interrupted the conversation and asked me my name. We started talking and ended up sitting down and talking the rest of the evening. Later, he walked me to my car and asked for my number. He called me later to make sure I got home safely. We went out on a date a few days later and the rest is history! LOL

We went the the Dominican Republic for what I thought was a birthday celebration for Shannon's friend. Well it was a birthday celebration, but Shannon secretly planned to propose during the trip. One night after dinner he asked to go for a walk along the beach. While we were walking Shannon stepped away to talk to a group of strangers. He came back with one of the strangers explaining that the guy was going to take our picture. I stood there pose ready for the picture...... suddenly Shannon dropped on one knee and asked me to marry him!!!! The guy was recording the proposal the whole time! Of course I said yes! And here we are.
