Bar K Dog Park & Bar
This is the be all and end all of dog parks. And it's FREE if you don't bring a dog. You can purchase affordable food and drinks (both are really good), and bask in the joy of being surrounded by dogs.
Saint Louis Zoo
The zoo is free (unless you park in the lot) and is a wonderful place to walk around outdoors.
Missouri Botanical Garden
Gorgeous and outdoors, the botanical garden is a great way to spend an afternoon!
Tower Grove Park
We live next to this gorgeous park. It has pavilions and walking paths, a farmer's market, sometimes food trucks, etc.
Saint Louis Art Museum
It's a neat art museum, and they have a weapons exhibit in the basement.
City Museum
The City museum is less museum and more jungle gym meets skate park meets craft house. It is indescribable, but if you are able-bodied and haven't been before, we insist you check it out. There is nothing else like it. Your kids will thank you for bringing them.
The Gateway Arch
Honestly the arch is not terribly exciting, although the park at the bottom is a nice place to walk around by the river.

This is our favorite sandwich shop of all time.

Delicious fine dining.
Hi-Pointe Drive-In
Very creative but tasty burgers, fries, and shakes.
The Vine Cafe and Market
Fast casual or sit down Mediterranean food.
Yummi Tummi
Okay hear us out, it's a sushi, ramen, & sub sandwich place, but it's actually really good. Try the poke bowl!
Lona's Lil Eats
Fresh Asian cuisine with a soul-food flare.
