Question

Can I take pictures at the wedding?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony and ask that you turn your cellphones/cameras off. If you have them out, we will kindly ask you to put them away. Our lovely photographers will be there to capture everyone's smiling faces! Before and after the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we're on a tight budget and have limited space, so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one, if not stated on your invitation/RSVP. We thank you for your understanding!

Can we bring children?

Answer

Please note that due to restrictions at our venue, we are unable to accommodate everyone's children at our wedding. We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our special day a mostly adult-only event. We are requesting that you only bring guests that are listed on the invitation/RSVP!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, but only for a limited time! Beer and wine requests are on us during cocktail hour and for the first 3 hours of our reception. You are more than welcome to stray from our options, but it will be an out of pocket expense. For the remainder of the night, we will have a cash bar provided!

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by May 14th, 2025 or sooner to ensure accommodations for all guests!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Our ceremony will be taking place outside (assuming our lovely Michigan weather cooperates). Note that our big day is in June, so please be prepared for a nice sunny day! Our reception will be held indoors, walking distance of the ceremony site.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Yes! Since the nearest lodging options are roughly 20-30 minutes from the venue, we will have a shuttle that will be traveling all day between the hotels and venue!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you dress to impress in semi formal/formal attire. We ask that you do not wear jeans, athletic wear, hoodies, white apparel, etc. to the wedding!
