Question
Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
Answer
The wedding will take place at Strong Mansion on Sugarloaf Mountain. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The reception will follow in a tent on the same property.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is garden party formal. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. Please note that late August in Maryland can be hot. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, shoes appropriate for walking on grass & uneven terrain are encouraged. We want everyone to feel stylish yet comfortable & ready to get down on the dance floor!

Is there transportation service to the venue?
Answer
Yes there is transportation to and from Strong Mansion. Shuttles will arrive at the each of the two hotels listed below at 3:25pm and will depart no later than 3:45pm. The same shuttles will depart from the venue following the reception for guest drop off back at hotels. Is parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there will be parking available on-site for anyone planning on driving. There will be an attendant directing cars to designated parking areas upon arrival. We recommend arriving a little early to ensure plenty of time for parking and getting to the ceremony beginning at 4:25pm. If you require special assistance (such as a drop-off or help with mobility), please let the parking attendant know upon arrival. They will be happy to assist and direct you to the closest parking or drop-off point for convenience and comfort.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our professional photographer to capture the moment. Feel free to take as many photos as you like during the reception!

Have you reserved rooms at one or more hotels or do you have recommended places to stay?
Answer

Am I allowed a plus-one?
Answer
We are keeping our guest list intimate and can only extend invitations to those specified. If a plus-one is included for you, it will appear when you RSVP.

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night off!
