A quick good bang for your buck hike with some sweet views of Farmington Valley. We also love the trails at Penwood State Park right across the street, which tend to have a little less foot traffic.

Golf at Tunxis Country Club
The OG course for 9 or 18 - and plenty of free balls in the woods courtesy of Max and Gerard over the years.
Try the World's Best Chicken Cutlet Sandwich (According to Max and Ari)
Claudia's is a must every time we're back in Farmington. Note: There have been several occasions where we eat a huge sandwich here, then feel too guilty to tell Max's mom we already ate, and proceed to eat another huge dinner. Needless to say we've had some good food comas in Farmington.
Fly Fish on the Farmington River
One of Max's favorite places and pastimes inspired by his grandpa, Don. Max has 2 extra fly rods and gear for anyone to borrow, but the folks at UpCountry Sportfishing should be able to hook it up, too (although their vests won't have a secret pipe stashed in the pocket).
Go for a Run or walk around the West Hartford Reservoir
If you're up for a run, this is a solid spot with both paved loops and trail running. Ari also forced Max to go on an 8 mile run here immediately after he proposed because "that's what her training plan said she had to do."
