We are providing a shuttle with stops in Neptune and Ocean Grove. 5:10pm - Holiday Inn Express (Neptune) 5:20pm - Residence Inn by Marriott (Neptune) 5:40pm - The Majestic Hotel (Ocean Grove) The shuttle will make multiple trips back to Neptune and Ocean Grove starting at 11pm.
Asbury Park is on the coast in northern New Jersey. It is a revitalized beach town known for its music scene and long boardwalk. The closest international airport is Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). There are regular trains from Newark to Asbury Park Station. If you are planning to drive, note that Asbury Park is anywhere from one to three hours from Manhattan, depending on traffic. Note that there is limited parking in Asbury Park near the venue and it fills up by 8 or 9am.
Yes! We are planning to get married on the beach. In the case of inclement weather, we will move the ceremony indoors. The cocktail reception will be on a covered terrace. Dinner and dancing will be indoors at the supper club.
We feel very lucky to have friends and family coming from all over the world. Some people are staying for a night, some for a week. We will be leaving for our honeymoon on Monday afternoon.
On vacation before Joanna's bar exam, Ari "randomly" proposed a pit-stop in Bruce Springsteen's original musical digs. Seeing the shore for the first time in years, we both were surprised at how much we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this hip pearl of the north-eastern Atlantic coast, and decided to come back one day ;)
