Yes! We are kindly requesting that guests attending be fully vaccinated by Monday October 15th 2022. We have high risk family and friends as well as children and babies attending. If you are unable to get the vaccine due to health conditions, or refuse to get vaccinated, we ask that if you have any symptoms at all to please contact the Bride, groom, or maid of honor and not attend. Though we would love to have you celebrate with us, it is in our best interest to keep all guests safe. This may be updated depending on CDC guidelines. Please note, we would prefer that the topic of COVID and politics be 'off the menu' for dinner time conversation.
Dress code is creative formal. Though Halloween usually nods to costumes, we would like to keep it formal. We would love a little Halloween flare within your attire but keep it classy! Guests planning on wearing heels, please note the whole event is outside in a grassy area, a thicker/chunkier heel or wedge would be ideal, thin heels could sink into the ground, we don’t want any twisted ankles! Also, no white.
Michigan can be quite chilly and even rainy (or snowy) in October so dress accordingly and bring something warm.
We are happily having a backyard wedding. The Ceremony and reception will take place in a tent outside
Yes! We would love to celebrate with your little ones! We will have an activity table set up for them to keep busy.
Of course! We are going to be having buffet style dinner from Bab El Salam. We will have a bar area with different wines and beers and also non-alcoholic options.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, no pictures or phones allowed during the ceremony. But during cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, or text them to the bride and groom, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #hajaighallowedding so we can keep track of all your pictures!
