The ceremony and reception will both take place at the beautiful Hacienda San Sebastian in El Rosal, Cundinamarca, just outside Bogota, Colombia, on Sunday, August 9th. The ceremony begins promptly at 3 pm.
Don’t worry about navigating the mountain roads! We are providing a shuttle service to and from our recommended hotel GHL Style Hotel Bogotá Occidente, directly to Hacienda San Sebastian.

Expect "spring-like" weather during the day (around 18-20°C / 65-70°F) and chilly evenings (dropping to 8-10°C / 45-50°F).
Black-Tie: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties. Note for the Ladies: The Hacienda has beautiful gardens and some uneven terrain; you may want to opt for a block heel or wedges over stilettos. No white dresses, please! Note for Everyone: While days in the Sabana are often sunny and beautiful, the temperature drops significantly once the sun goes down. We recommend bringing a shawl, pashmina, or light jacket for the evening.
You are welcome to stay wherever you like, but we strongly recommend staying at the suggested hotel or checking with us before booking elsewhere. Ubers and taxis can be very difficult to coordinate in the El Rosal area, especially late at night. If you stay at our recommended hotel, you can easily hop on the provided shuttle! If you decide to stay somewhere other than the recommended hotel, we suggest choosing accommodations in the main city, Bogotá. The surrounding areas are more rural and can be difficult to navigate. Please note that if you stay elsewhere, you will need to arrange your own transportation after the reception. Securing an Uber or taxi from the venue back to the city can be challenging late in the evening, so we encourage you to plan ahead.
We love your little ones! However, to allow all our guests—including parents—a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adults-only occasion. We hope you will enjoy this "night off" in the beautiful Colombian countryside with us!
To make the most of your trip, we recommend arriving by Wednesday, August 5th (for the Wedding Party) or Thursday, August 6th (for all other guests). We have planned a special brunch for our international guests on Monday, August 10th at 10:00 AM. We suggest scheduling your departure for later that evening or on Tuesday, August 11th to fully enjoy the celebration weekend with us. We can’t wait to spend these special days together! ✨

While most major hotels and restaurants accept credit cards, it’s always a good idea to have some Colombian Pesos (COP) on hand for small purchases or tips. You can easily withdraw pesos from ATMs at the airport or near the hotel. Alternatively, you can exchange U.S. dollars for pesos at the currency exchange counters located at the airport.
