Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day!

Are you registered? Where?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we have registered with Myregistry.com. You can find the details under the registry tab.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend Baymont Inn & Suits in Richmond! It is only a 6 minute drive! To make things a little easier, we have blocked off 15 rooms for your convenience. Group Number:082925DB Name:Donahoe/Barnett Wedding

Is this a smoke friendly venue?

Answer

They don’t allow smoking or vaping in the barn but they do provide a few different areas outside for smoking and provide receptacles for disposal of your butts and cigars. No illegal drugs or marijuana/THC vaping is allowed anywhere on the property.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Come dance the night away with us wearing cocktail attire. Think smart clothing, like a suit or dress shirt and tie or knee length dress. We ask that you don't wear any red or blue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

They have two (2) handicap parking spaces and some additional paved parking. Most of their parking lot is located in our grassy lot. Please plan shoes accordingly. The grassy lot is very close to the entrance of the barn and ceremony area so there will not be any long walks involved. They have a total of 60-70 parking spaces. So carpooling is encouraged. Street parking is not allowed and vehicles will be towed at the owners expense. If you are driving a vehicle that you are concerned about parking on the grass, you are encouraged to arrive early (at least 30 min) to ensure you get a parking spot in the paved lot. After the paved lot is full, there is ONLY grass parking available.

Can I leave my car there overnight?

Answer

Yes, if you need to leave your car and hop a ride with someone else, we understand. All vehicles must be cleared from the lot by 10am the next day.
