The wedding ceremony and wedding reception will be taking place in the same building at The Anthracite Center at 41 N Main St, Carbondale, PA 18407. The venue has an accessible entrance from the back parking lot, as well as an elevator to access the balcony.
We did NOT book a block of hotel rooms for our wedding night due to the lack of demand for them. If you are traveling from out of town and will be staying in the area for the night, the closest hotel will be The Hotel Anthracite [https://hotelanthracite.com]. There are few AirBnB accommodations nearby, however, Scranton is a 20 minute drive from the venue and there are plenty of chain accommodations in Scranton. If you have questions or need help finding accommodations, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help you!
Yes! Behind The Anthracite Center there is a large public lot where guests may park for free.
The dress code is black tie optional— a fusion between black tie and formal dress. Tuxedos and gowns are acceptable, as are cocktail dresses and suits.
As much as we love our family and friends’ little ones, we ask that you not bring any children with you to our wedding.
We’ve hired an artistic photographer to capture our day and want nothing more than for you all to be in the present moment with us during our ceremony. We ask that no photos be taken, and that all cell phones are off, during our ceremony.
