Do We Have Hotel Rooms Blocked?

Answer

Yes. Hotel rooms have been blocked at the Super 8 in Chamberlain, SD. Please see the travel tab for additional information about this hotel and how to receive the special rate.

Will the Ceremony be Taking Place Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The plan is for everything to be outdoors. The ceremony will be at the back of the house and will be on cut grass. The reception will be at the front of the house on the paved driveway. We will have plenty of water, sunscreen & bug spray available to keep everyone comfortable. If the weather does not cooperate on the day of the festivities, we will have to switch to plan B, which will be posted on the website if it comes to that. We will also do our best to spread the word via alternate methods.

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

Yes! If you want to bring your children, you are more than welcome. We want everyone to have a good time. We will have games and dancing for everyone to enjoy.

What will parking be like at the Carlson Residence?

Answer

There is plenty of parking for our event. The road will be blocked off and plenty of signage will guide you to where you can park. In a nut shell, parking will be a the softball field and open field near the Carlson Residence. Please be conscious of how you park and the way it will affect the next guest looking for a spot. Park smart!

Can I Bring A Guest?

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Will There Be Dancing? Entertainment?

Answer

Um, is there a sun and moon? Haha! Of course we will have dancing! We will also have assorted yard games and other activities for everyone to enjoy.
