Question

How and where do I RSVP?

Answer

Find the "RSVP" tab on this site to enter your name and RSVP.

Question

Where is the Registry?

Answer

Registry is posted on the "Registry" tab!

Question

Hotel block for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked rooms at 2 hotels. See the "Travel" tab for details and discount codes to book.

Question

Do I have to get a hotel?

Answer

No! There are other great lodging options such as Airbnb, VRBO, or bringing a tent (contact Nikolai for advice on legal camping grounds). While the discount codes we provide at 2 hotels makes the rates quite competitive for the area, there are plenty of other hotels in Montreal you can stay. The choice is yours!

Question

What is July weather like in Montreal?

Answer

Unless you're from Australia like Nikolai's best man Boris, the weather is about the same as in the Northeast U.S. (where most out-of-town guests are from). Check the weather before you travel, but it should be nice and warm!

Question

What does "formal" dress code mean?

Answer

Got a couple questions on this one so adding context on dress code. AI gave a better overview than I possibly could have: "For a wedding, 'formal attire' typically means dressing in a more elegant and sophisticated manner than cocktail attire but less strictly than black tie. Men can opt for a dark suit with a tie or bow tie, while women can choose from floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or tailored jumpsuits. It's a dress code that allows for some flexibility and personal style choices within the bounds of elevated style and formality." If in doubt, get in touch with a member of the Boston College Dynamics. They are known to have excellent style.
