All are welcome to enjoy music and dancing prior to our ceremony! The Baraat is a wedding processional that symbolizes the grooms excitement, his journey to the altar and our two families coming together as one. Light bites and refreshments will be served. The Baraat will conclude at our ceremony location.

Traditional Indian attire is strongly encouraged, however not mandatory. Any bright colored spring wedding wear is appropriate. If you would like to dress traditionally and are unsure where to start, please see the "What to Wear" and "Where to Shop" sections of our wedding website.

Lunch will be served in the legendary Blue Room immediately following our ceremony. The Hollywood-era super club turned ballroom has hosted performances by music legends such as Aretha Franklin, Judy Garland, Bob Hope, The Rolling Stones and more. Famed for hosting twelve inaugural balls and frequented by politicians, the Blue Room is rumored to have brought John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Bouvier together. The history of The Omni Shoreham is a rich and storied one.
