We first crossed paths in high school through mutual friends, but it wasn’t until the summer after our freshman year of college that our journey truly began. We connected on Tinder and quickly realized how naturally we clicked. What started as casual conversations soon turned into something much deeper. We spent almost every day together that summer, and when Ariana left to return to college that fall, John made the drive from Raleigh to Chapel Hill every week to see her. One particularly thoughtful gesture was when he surprised her with three dozen roses—an unexpected and meaningful way to show how much he cared. As our relationship grew, so did our adventures. We adopted our beloved dog, Roscoe, and traveled the world together, creating memories that will last a lifetime. For the past 7 years, we’ve supported each other through every milestone, from graduating college to starting new careers. We love to try new things together, laugh at silly jokes, and have fun, whether dancing, playing video games, watching TV, or attending events around the Triangle. But beyond the laughter and adventures, what truly defines our bond is the deep understanding and support we give each other every day. Now, after years of growing together, we’re excited to take our relationship to the next level. With a love that only grows stronger, we know our journey together is just beginning.
