South Casco, Maine

We made it official.

the best day ever

to our loved ones, This year has been full of the unexpected to say the least. And as much as we did not expect to have this day without so many of the ones we love, we had each other through it all. On a Sunday afternoon on Sebago Lake we said our "I dos" in front of our immediate families. Despite it being smaller than originally planned, the day was everything we dreamed of. With the uncertainty of Covid-19 and the future regulations we have decided to cancel any upcoming large wedding. We will miss the opportunity to get together with you all. And we thank you for your understanding during this time. Sincerely, Adam and Ariana Lindquist

How we met

12.10.17

Adam was living a quiet life in his log home in Maine, while Ariana was working in the busy Fort Lauderdale restaurant industry. It was there that by chance she served the right table. Adam’s aunt and uncle Charlie and Angela stopped into Boatyard before their flight out and that’s where they met Ariana. Angela just had a feeling that Ariana and Adam would be great together. During their dining experience she sent Adam a message telling him to connect with Ariana. The next day the two started messaging, instantly clicked, and a week later Adam booked his ticket down to Florida for their first meet.

The proposal

11.26.19

Nearing on Ariana’s first year living in Maine, her parents and niece flew in to celebrate Thanksgiving starting a new tradition. It was two days before the holiday when everyone met at The Lindquist’s Sebago home for the sunset. It was there that the two walked down to the shore to watch the sun go down. All the while Adam was on his knee and asked the big question, of course, she said YES!
