My big sister! Obviously she has known me the longest out of everyone in the bridal party and we have a lot of old inside jokes that we don't even remember the origins of anymore! As we get older I believe we just become better and better friends and she doesn't mind when i borrow her stuff anymore ; )

Since I first knew of Kristin, I had a massive girl crush on her. I was a baby college student and she was on staff at our church and was so cool. I still have a girl crush but am no longer intimidated by her! Since we first met we have been in bible studies together, lived together, worked in ministry together and so on. She lets me into her life in very special ways and somehow manages to still hang out with me while mothering 3 little boys! Kristin is not afraid to tell me like it is and is willing to sit with me in my pain and frustration. She loves people fiercely with the intensity of a mamma bear but also with compassion and understanding. I don't know what life would be like without her friendship and I am so thankful to have her with me as I enter into marriage!
Lindsy Clarke

Lindsy is my soul sister! We first met while living together as part of our church's intern program. Lindsy was always so sweet and warm and ready for an adventure. We developed a deep bond meeting regularly to pray and talk about the challenges in our lives. Lindsy is someone I can ugly cry in front of (and have multiple times) and not feel self-conscious or judged. Lindsy is also how I met Peter!!!! They had been diving buddies for years and she invited him over to our house one night. I met him a few times with her throughout the years but it wasn't until Lindsy and her husband, Jesse, teamed up with Peter to make something happen that I gave Peter a chance. Thanks Lindsy!

Amy and I met while both working as baristas at The Abbey Coffee, Art and Music Lounge about 11 years ago! When I am hanging out with Amy, I feel completely at ease. She gets all my movie and TV show references and accepts me with all my weird quirks. She also helps me get out of my comfort zone and encourages me to do things that scare me. She is so kind, generous and thoughtful of others and has been such a gift of a friend to me. She and her husband, Jeff have let me 3rd wheel it on so many trips and adventures and I have never felt like a 3rd wheel with them! They welcome me into their plans and home and are really fun to be around. We do a lot of laughing together so of course I need her joy and lightheartedness with me on this special day!

Tera and I met while on the artistic team for Christian Youth Theater's production of Seussical the Musical. Since then we have directed 3 or 4 CYT shows together and we performed in an original musical Tera wrote. Tera is someone who helps me stay playful and creative as adulthood trudges on. She has brought so much fun and silliness into my life. She is also incredibly kind and insightful and has been a huge support to me as a single woman, longing for my person. She has prayed for me and my future husband faithfully throughout the years and her insights into who I am and what I need in a husband strongly influenced my willingness to give Peter a chance. She knows whats up and is a joy to be around and I am so happy to have her with me on my wedding day!

We were best friend in college and have remained friends for 14 years through countless moves and life changes. Val is responsible for my love of Ray LaMontage and got me to start liking tomatoes (random right?). Val has always been there for me when I needed a friend: showing up to my Mother's memorial service in San Diego when she lived in San Fransisco and coming to my Master's graduation ceremony in San Jose when she lived in San Diego! She has been such a faithful friend and I can't imagine this day without her!
