Jeni's is our favorite ice cream spot! Xavier is loyal to the Brambleberry Crisp flavor and Ariana loves the Gooey Butter Cake. Keep in mind that there are multiple locations!
Sycamore Brewing
One of our favorite breweries in Charlotte! Sycamore has great beer, food, and even a cafe. Xavier recommends the Mountain Candy or the Southern Girl.
Optimist Hall
If you are a foodie, this is one of our favorites! Explore all kinds of cuisines in one open food hall, with 20+ options, your whole group is bound to fulfill any of their cravings.
Carowinds
If you're looking for something fun to do during our wedding weekend and love a thrill, we highly recommend visiting Carowinds! Our personal favorites are Fury 325 and Copperhead Strike.
Discovery Place Science
If you're looking for some fun activities for kids, Discovery Place Science is a great spot for all ages to explore, with plenty of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities!
District 57
If you're looking for a challenging group activity, District 57 is sort of like 30 mini escape rooms and a race to see how many you can complete! They also have laser tag, other arcade games, as well as drinks and really good pizza.
Trackhouse Motorplex
Xavier and Ariana tried these out recently with some friends and had a blast! The karts go up to 55 mph on a track modeled after Italy's Kartdromo Parma.
U.S. National Whitewater Center
For anyone seeking some fresh air just outside of the city, the Whitewater Center has plenty of activities to choose from! Whether it's kayaking, rafting, canoeing, rock climbing, biking or hiking, they have it all. There is also a nice restaurant on property!
