We're excited to celebrate with you!

Ariana's story: We met in sophomore year of high school. Our friends were dating at the time and we were both their plus one's when we all hung out one evening. Since then we've been through college, starting our careers, lots of traveling, and are now proud pup-parents to our dog Mona! Michael's story: There were definitely vegan french fries involved. The first time we officially met was outside of the Menomonee Falls library. I was studying hard in the library when this pretty girl walked up to me and said, "want to hang?" How could I say no?! We walked down the street to a lovely meadow of tall grass and sat down among the flowers. As fate would have it the wind blew a dandelion in her hair. I leaned over, grabbed it, and blew a wish. That wish came true as we sit here 10 years later preparing to celebrate our wedding with all our lovely family and friends! Oh yeah, and for our second date we got vegan french fries.

Ariana's story: Michael had his challenge cut out for him since we've been together 24/7 during the pandemic. He filled my parents backyard with Christmas lights and built a pergola for us to sit under while we watched a video he put together with all of my family wishing me a Merry Christmas and sharing why they loved me. He then hid a note (similar to ones we used to write one another in high school) next to the projector screen that said "Say yes!", got on one knee and proposed! Michael's story: An operational masterpiece. I always planned on having a flash mob but the pandemic really put a damper on that idea. Instead, I enlisted my oldest confidant and brother, David, to help me set up. We converted Ariana's childhood backyard into a winter wonderland with twinkle lights lighting the way to a perfectly constructed winter pergola sitting in front of a huge projector screen. With hot cocoa in hand, we sat under the pergola and watched a beautiful video from our family saying what they loved about Ariana. Although they were not able to be there due to the pandemic, it felt like our entire family showed up. At the end I proposed, Ariana cried, and the rest is history!
