Question

Is my cruise free?

Answer

Yes! We have booked your cruise cabin, which includes all meals on board, all cruise ship amenities such as music, shows and games, etc. You will, however, be responsible for all other costs, such as meals not eaten on board and/or meals at paid restaurants on-board, travel day meals, alcoholic beverages, souvenirs, photos, etc.

Question

What do I have to pay for?

Answer

You are responsible for meals on travel days (Nov 9, 10 and 16), alcoholic beverages, and spending money for excursions and/or souvenirs. You are also responsible for tipping your servers on board. If you wish to pre-pay gratuities ($80 per person), please let Aria know in the chat. If you wish to book an alcohol package ($60 per person per day), please let Aria know in the chat.

Question

What if I want to fly?

Answer

If you choose to fly, we can pick you up from the Orlando airport! Please message Aria in the group chat or on our Facebook page to make arrangements.

Question

Cruise Excursions

Answer

While we are in the planning stages, we do not know if we’ll book any excursions. If Aria & Shane do book an excursion, you will be notified in the Vow Renewal Cruise chat. You may choose to join us, stay in the ship, or stay on shore. Excursions are not covered in the cruise fare. If you wish to book one, please notify Aria via the chat, as she has a discount code for our group. You are, of course, free to book any excursions available for our cruise, regardless of Aria & Shane’s attendance!

Question

What’s the weather going to be?

Answer

The average high in the eastern Bahamas in November is 87 high/77 low. It will be hot! Inside the ship is very comfortable, sometimes even cold, so please bring a light jacket!

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Please limit luggage to one carry-on sized suitcase and one personal item due to cargo capacity in our van. What you should bring: • Sunscreen & basic toiletries • swimsuits • casual wear for hot weather • comfortable shoes (you will be walking A LOT!) • formal wear for the ceremony/reception • sun glasses • spending money • your phone & chargers • make a packing list so you don’t forget anything!

Question

What should I/my family wear to the reception?

Answer

Please DO NOT wear white (this includes all clothing items: pants, scarves, jackets, dresses, shirts, etc.). Formal Black Tie attire is required: • For women, this means calf to floor length formal dresses. • For men, this includes pressed suit pants, a long sleeve button up collared shirt, a suit or tux jacket, and a tie/bow tie.

Question

Anything else?

Answer

If you have any other questions, please ask in the Vow Renewal Group Chat or on our event Facebook page!

Question

What should I wear to dinner?

Answer

Dinners in the main dining room where we will be seated as a group are semi-formal/cocktail affairs. You must wear cocktail attire. For men, this means slacks and button up shirts. For ladies, this means cocktail dresses or dressy rompers. They will not let you in the main dining room if you are wearing shorts, jeans, flip flops, t-shirts, or other casual attire. Please feel free to re-use your clothing from night to night - it is very common to change just for dinner, then change back to casual attire directly after!
